Maximize the "Class" & Efficiency of Your Peterbilt
You drive the best truck on the road. It’s time it performed like it.
A Peterbilt isn't just a truck; it's a statement. Whether you are running a long-nose 389, an aerodynamic 579, or a vocational 567, you take pride in your rig. But even the "Class of the Industry" suffers from factory tuning designed for fleet averages rather than owner-operator performance. This leaves you downshifting too often on grades and burning more fuel than necessary.
The Stage 3 "Owner-Operator" Performance Module is engineered to restore the power that PACCAR and Cummins left on the table. It optimizes fuel timing and boost pressure to deliver the torque needed to flatten hills, while refining cruising efficiency to improve your bottom line.
✔ Climb Grades in Higher Gears. ✔ Improve MPG (1-3+). ✔ Eliminate Dead Pedal.
Why Upgrade to Stage 3?
-
Boost Your ROI: Fuel is your biggest expense. By optimizing the engine load map for steady-state cruising, our chip can deliver +1.5 to +3 MPG improvements. For an OTR driver, this pays for the module in a matter of weeks.
-
The "Hill Killer": Safely unlock up to +75 ft·lbs of Torque and +60 Horsepower. Keep your momentum up the Rockies, Appalachians, or Grapevine without constantly splitting gears.
-
Throttle Response: Eliminates the hesitation when pulling away from a dock or merging onto the interstate. The power is there the moment you ask for it.
-
Transmission Harmony: Works perfectly with Eaton Fuller (Manual & Endurant) and Allison transmissions, helping automated manuals make smarter shift decisions under load.
-
Powertrain Compatibility: Specifically calibrated for the Cummins X15 / ISX and PACCAR MX-13 / MX-11 engines found in Peterbilt chassis.
-
Zero Downtime Install: Installs in minutes inside the cab. No mechanic, no shop fees, and no cutting wires.
Smart Tuning for the Long Haul
Modern Class 8 engines use complex ECMs to balance power and emissions. The Stage 3 Tuner acts as an efficiency manager for your engine.
The Torque Strategy: Diesel engines thrive on timing. Our module monitors engine load 500 times a second. When you hit a grade, it increases rail pressure safely to provide "grunt." When you level out, it leans the fuel map to maximize economy.
For the 389 Long Hood: It restores the feeling of a mechanical engine, giving you that immediate, visceral response that matches the classic look of the truck.
For the 579: It complements the aerodynamics by allowing the engine to run at lower RPMs without lugging, squeezing every mile out of a gallon.
100% Safe, DOT Compliant & Reversible
Your rig is your livelihood. We don't mess with compliance.
Emissions Safe: This device is NOT a delete tuner. It is fully compatible with your DPF, DEF, and SCR systems. It optimizes combustion, which often leads to cleaner burns and fewer passive Regen cycles.
Warranty Safe: The module does not flash the ECM. It leaves no digital footprint. If you are going in for a DOT inspection or dealer service, simply unplug it. The truck returns to stock instantly.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which connector do I need?
Most modern Peterbilts (2016+) use the Green 9-Pin J1939 connector. Older models (pre-2016) often use the Black 9-Pin. Some Medium Duty trucks use OBDII. Please check your port located near the clutch pedal before ordering. Adapters are available.
Will this raise my EGTs?
No. The Stage 3 chip is programmed to stay within the safe thermal limits of the engine. It makes power through timing efficiency, not just by dumping raw fuel (which causes high Exhaust Gas Temperatures).
Does it work on the PACCAR MX-13?
Yes. It is highly effective on the PACCAR engines, smoothing out the power band and helping reduce the "dead pedal" lag often felt at take-off.
Is it legal for scales and inspections?
Yes. Because it does not tamper with emissions equipment or bypass any sensors, it is compliant for road use. It is physically undetectable once removed.
