Return, Refund & Shipping Policy

1. General Policy
At PerformanceChipTuning.com, we strive to deliver high-quality products and clear terms regarding returns, refunds, and shipping. By placing an order with us, you agree to this Return, Refund & Shipping Policy. If a customer places an order, payment confirmation constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2. Return Eligibility & Timeframes
Return Authorization Required: All returns must be authorized in advance by our Customer Service team. To request a return, email us at info@performancechiptuning.com or call 1-877-763-2804 with your order number and reason for return. Returns without prior authorization may be refused.
Returns must be initiated within 30 days of the delivery date. After 30 days, no refunds or exchanges will be issued. Once your return is authorized, you must return the item within 7 days of receiving the return authorization. Failure to do so may void your return.
3. Condition of Returned Items
To qualify for a refund:
- Products must be returned in their original packaging.
- Products must be in a “resalable” condition. Items showing signs of usage—such as vehicle installation, modifications, damage, scratches, or missing components—are considered used and may be subject to restocking fees or refusal of refund.
Restocking fees apply on all returns to cover handling, repackaging, inspection, and processing costs.
4. Refunds & Restocking Fees
Refunds are issued only after we have received and inspected the returned item. Please allow up to 30 days from the date the returned item is received for your refund to be processed. Refunds are issued to the original method of payment.
New, Unused Items: Most new, unused items returned in original condition may receive a refund minus any applicable restocking fee.
Used Items: Products that show signs of use (installed in a vehicle or otherwise used) are subject to a restocking fee of up to 25% of the product price and may receive a partial refund only if approved. Used products may also be refused for return at our discretion.
Original shipping costs, expedited shipping charges, and return shipping costs are non-refundable.
5. Cancellation & Refused Shipments
If you request to cancel an order after it has shipped, you may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 10% of the order total to cover processing and shipping label cancellation charges. If the package is already en route, you may also be responsible for additional fees charged by shipping carriers.
For refused shipments or orders returned due to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer, the customer is responsible for all shipping charges, and a restocking fee of up to 25% may be deducted from any refund due. Customers may be required to pay shipping costs again to reship the order.
6. Damaged Shipments
If your order arrives damaged, you must report it within 3 business days of delivery by contacting us with photos of the damaged packaging and product. We will work with you to either send a replacement or provide a partial refund, at our discretion. If you choose to cancel instead of replace, a restocking fee may apply.
7. Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is the direct result of our error (incorrect or defective product). You are strongly advised to use a shipping method with tracking and insurance. We are not responsible for lost, damaged, or misrouted return packages.
8. Chargebacks and Disputes
If a customer initiates a chargeback with their payment provider after agreeing to this policy and the product was delivered in accordance with the order and policy terms, we will provide the payment processor with evidence of:
- Signed acceptance of our Terms, Return & Shipping Policy;
- Proof of delivery (tracking / carrier confirmation);
- Return authorization records, if applicable;
- Inspection results of returned items showing condition and restocking fees; and
- Communication logs with the customer and attempted resolutions.
Customers who retain a product after initiating a chargeback may still be liable for the product cost, and we reserve all rights to dispute such claims with the issuing bank.
9. Exceptions & Special Orders
Some products (including digital files, software, custom configurations, or special orders) may not be eligible for refunds or returns. If an item is marked non-returnable at the time of purchase, no refund will be issued.
