Complete intercooled T3/T4 turbo package for the 1999–2008 Volkswagen Golf and Jetta with the 2.8L / 3.2L VR6 24-valve. It pairs a cast T3 manifold with a hybrid T3/T4 turbo, 35mm external wastegate, front-mount intercooler, boost controller, blow-off valve, oil cooler, turbo timer and fuel-system parts in one box. Most installs keep A/C and power steering, and it works with manual or automatic transmissions. Expect about 50–100 hp over stock at a conservative 8–10 psi with a proper tune. The 390+ hp figure is the hardware's ceiling at 20–30 psi with a built engine, fueling and supporting mods, not a dyno result for a stock car.

Why this kit

  • T3/T4 hybrid turbo with a .57 trim compressor and .50 / .63 A/R housings
  • Cast street manifold with large primaries and a thick T3 flange that carries the turbo's weight
  • Front-mount aluminum intercooler, full 2.5" piping kit and 35mm external wastegate
  • Oil cooler kit, slim cooling fan and electronic turbo timer for street-friendly cool-down
  • Adjustable fuel pressure regulator with gauge, billet fuel filter and oil catch can included

Package Includes

  • (1) T3/T4 hybrid turbocharger with oil fitting gaskets and mounting studs

  • (1) Turbo oil line kit: 77" feed line, 36" angled feed, 18" 5/8" high-temp 550 psi return, T fitting, fittings, gaskets and hardware

Exact Fitment — Volkswagen

  • 2002–2008 Golf / GTI / R32 (MK4 / MK5) 2.8L or 3.2L VR6 24V
  • 1999–2004 Jetta (MK4) 2.8L VR6 24V
  • VR6 24-valve engines only (DOHC)
  • Not for VR6 12V (MK3 / Corrado AAA / AFP) — that platform uses a separate kit
  • Not for 1.8T, 2.0L 8V, 1.9L TDI, 2.5L or later 2.0T engines

Not Included

  • Chassis-specific downpipe and exhaust beyond the turbo
  • Larger injectors, fuel pump and ECU tune (required)
  • Clutch upgrade, boost gauge and wideband
  • Oil-pan return bung if your setup needs one

Installation Notes

  • Professional installation strongly recommended. The intercooler piping is universal, so expect some cutting and fitting
  • The manifold is street cast, not equal-length tubular: stronger and more affordable, with a different spool character
  • Oil return must drain by gravity; prime the turbo with oil before first start and check for leaks at feed and return
  • Blow-off valve flanges are installed at your discretion
  • Keep boost around 8–10 psi until fuel and tune are upgraded, and let the turbo timer handle cool-down
  • Confirm clearance for the front-mount intercooler and oil cooler during mock-up

FAQs

Does this fit a VR6 12V or Corrado? No. It is for the 24-valve VR6 in 1999–2008 Golf / Jetta only. The 12V kit is a separate listing.

How much power will it make? About 50–100 hp over stock at 8–10 psi on a healthy stock engine with a proper tune. 390+ hp is the hardware ceiling with a built engine and full supporting mods.

Can I keep A/C and power steering? Most installs keep both; confirm clearance during mock-up.

Manual or automatic? Fits either when the engine matches.

Is it plug-and-play? No. You still need injectors, a fuel pump, an ECU tune and some pipe fitting.
