Turbo Kit for Eagle Talon 420A (1995-1998) 2.0L

Complete stage 3 T3/T4 turbo kit for the 1995–1998 Eagle Talon with the 2.0L 420A DOHC engine (2G Base and ESi, non-turbo). It's built around a cast T3 manifold for the 420A head, a hybrid T3/T4 turbo with an internal wastegate, a front-mount intercooler and a full set of oiling, fuel and cooling parts. It does not fit the 2.0L 4G63T TSi / TSi AWD or the 1990–1994 1G Talon. A tune and fueling upgrades are required.

Installation Notes

• A tune is required. The 420A in the Talon came naturally aspirated, so it needs fuel and timing control before you run any boost.
• The intercooler piping is a universal 2.5" kit. Expect to cut, trim and route it to fit your car.
• The oil return needs a gravity drain into the pan, so plan to add a drain bung.
• The manifold is a street cast log, not equal-length tubular. It's strong and spools quickly, but it doesn't flow like a header at the top end.
• Blow-off valve flanges can be welded where you prefer.
• Use the turbo timer, or let the car idle for 30–60 seconds before shutdown.
• Expect about +100 hp on a healthy stock engine at 8 psi with a proper tune. The 495 hp figure is a hardware ceiling at 25+ psi with a built motor and supporting mods, not a dyno result.

FAQs

Will this fit my Talon TSi?
No. The TSi and TSi AWD use the 4G63T. This kit is for the 420A in the Base and ESi.

Can I keep A/C and power steering?
Most installs keep A/C and power steering. Confirm clearance during mock-up.

Does it work with an automatic?
Yes. It fits both manual and automatic cars with the 420A.

How much power will I make?
Expect roughly +100 hp at 8 psi on a stock engine with a tune. Higher numbers need a built motor, fueling and more boost.

What else do I need?
A downpipe and exhaust, injectors, a fuel pump, a tune, an oil pan drain bung and a clutch rated for the added power.
