Installation Process:

1. Remove MAF sensor from factory airbox and set aside carefully
2. Remove green clip from wire harness on factory airbox
3. Unlatch top lid of factory airbox
4. Loosen hose clamp securing airbox top lid
5. Remove top lid and factory filter element
6. Note the MAF sensor direction—arrow indicates airflow direction
7. Lightly wet the adapter hole with water for easier MAF installation
8. Install MAF sensor into adapter, pushing firmly until fully seated
9. Align MAF sensor mounting holes with pre-drilled holes in adapter
10. Install screws firmly without over-tightening or cross-threading
11. Small 1mm gap between MAF and adapter is normal when properly installed
12. Attach 3-inch air filter to proper end and secure hose clamp
13. Connect assembly to factory flex tube and tighten hose clamp
14. Plug in MAF sensor electrical connector
15. Double-check all connections and clamp tightness
16. Optional: Add zip tie to secure filter position if needed
17. Optional: Add foam protection between filter and factory components
18. Inspect installation after first few days of driving

• Do not over-tighten hose clamp screws—this can damage components
• Do not cross-thread MAF sensor mounting screws
