The Stock Sequoia End-Tank Degradation

OEM radiators on first-generation Sequoias utilize glass-filled nylon end tanks crimped to an aluminum core with silicone gaskets. Under sustained towing loads and repeated thermal cycles, this plastic embrittles, resulting in hairline fractures at the upper radiator neck and seam blowout at the crimp line. Additionally, the thin factory core lacks the fluid volume needed to stabilize coolant and transmission fluid temperatures during prolonged hill climbs.

The Engineering Solution

Constructed entirely from aircraft-grade TIG-welded aluminum, this performance unit eliminates mechanical crimps, plastic failure points, and O-ring gaskets. The heavy-duty furnace-brazed core features increased fin density and optimized tube spacing to maximize surface-area heat dissipation. An integrated high-flow internal automatic transmission oil cooler maintains optimal fluid viscosity for the A340/A750 gearboxes under severe load.
