Under repetitive thermal cycling and elevated cooling system pressures typical of modified FA24F engines, these plastic tanks become brittle, prone to stress cracking, and vulnerable to gasket blowouts at the crimp line. Additionally, the slim factory core possesses limited fluid capacity and surface area, leading to heat soak during track sessions or extended spirited driving, which triggers ECU knock protection and retards ignition timing.
