Between the restrictive paper filters and the baffled plastic tubing, these engines suffer from significant air turbulence. This bottleneck chokes off throttle response and prevents the engine from breathing freely, especially during towing or highway merging.

The Solution: We engineered this short ram intake to replace the restrictive factory plumbing with a mandrel-bent aluminum tube. By smoothing out the air path and increasing the filter surface area, we corrected the factory airflow limitations of these Isuzu powerplants, providing a more aggressive sound and sharper engine response.
