Factory paper air filter elements used on classic GM V8 and Mercedes-Benz W108/W109, W116, R107 and C107 models utilize tightly packed, resin-bonded cellulose fibers. While effective at particle trapping, this dense medium creates significant differential pressure across the intake tract.
