Stage 1 Performance Chip for Nissan - Boost HP & Torque | OBD2 Plug & Play Module

Nice product, easy set-up! Difficult to gauge HP and torque improvements in a 2.0L 4-cylinder car - seat-of-the-pants measurement only. However, the power band does seem to be more robust and smoother, which is a good thing for the Nissan engine and CVT combo.

GTE Stage 1 Performance module really does make a positive difference! I was apprehensive at 1st because newer cars have so many electronic components, that I didn't want to cross anything, but week 2 and all systems good! My standing starts are much smoother, acceleration stronger and MPG a little better! It's almost to good to be true, but, it is true! Looking forward to future results and great driving experiences! This device gave my Rogue the extra boost it needed!

Plugged it in not knowing what to expect. No engine lights, everything worked normally so that was a relief. 2019 Rogue 2.5 and the instant I plugged it in and left the driveway I noticed a reduction in lag, throttle response improved literally immediately. The car is absolutely more peppy already and I've only driven about 5 miles. I reset my mpg counter which was 26.1 so I'm eager to see if it changes. I will be making the same 45m commute to work for 2 weeks then update the results. I'm already glad I got it so I hope it really does save on gas as well since I go about 250+ miles a week just for work.

Just purchased and so far I can definitely tell the difference in power I drive an 07 Nissan Versa and wow, I don’t think I have gotten the full experience but as of right now it’s amazing just really easy you plug it in your OBD port and wait and start your vehicle I let mine run a minute before driving and after you ECM automatically will make adjustments to everything you need.

I am very happy with both my vehicles performance. Yes I bought one for my 2.5 engine Frontier and is a complete different animal.5 stars

I bought the stage 1 for my altima and i also was hesitant at first but i realized this company is professional. This chip worked after about 2 weeks and i really felt a bit more power and throttle response. 5 stars

Very easy install. Worked as stated. Definitely felt horsepower/torque gains within a very shortly period once my ECU and chip started working together. Very pleased. May purchase Stage 2 or 3 to push my truck's ability. Affordable DIY upgrade.

Fast shipping. Simple install. I was hesitant at first. I’ve had it plugged in for roughly a week now. I see a lot of gains. Tranny use to shift around 5k plus when you stepped on it. Now it’s at 3500rpms roughly so that’s awesome! I’ve seen I wanna say honestly 10 mpgs gain. In my dash history all the stats are to the left. Until I plugged in the chip I got this column way to the right in the 40mpgs range. I use to average low 30s. I should go take a picture of this!

Excellent product with immediate increase in engine performance.

Nissan issued a recall for 2014 Rogues to reprogram the onboard computer to modify how the CVC transmission manages power, torque and MPGs. After this reprogramming was done by my dealership, my Rogue’s torque and power were simply a shadow of the original performance.



The GTE Stage 1 Performance Chip has put the zip back into my Rogue’s performance. No more sluggish response with acceleration either from a full stop or from an interstate highway on-ramp. The engine roughs smoother over the full RPM range.



Gas mileage is consistently in the 28-29 MPG range on short trips around my area. I have yet to experience sustained highway speeds but anticipate that my MPG will be in excess of 35 MPG as it was factory fresh before the dealer reprogramming.



Installation of the GTE Stage 1 was simple. This product is well worth the money and a great value.

So I was a little hesitant at first which is why I did stage one first. Oh boy I noticed the difference right away and even more so as time passes. It gave it a extra boost in HP and Take off. If you have a Nissan versa it definitely is worth it you noticed a huge difference in the RPM and gas mileage. Please note the first week I drove like crazy so no doy I'm not going to get better gas mileage. However when I drive appropriately I noticed a huge gas mileage difference in a positive way. So very happy and even got brother-in-law interested.

Still a little early for full review but I am most definitely experiencing increased fuel efficiency.

Eh, ok. I’ve had it a couple weeks so I’m not sure if it’s done “learning” . I got it for fuel efficiency more than hp. I noticed a fuel consumption increase with a full tank. After a 1/4 tank is used then it gets a little better. Weird.

Still on the fence about it.

idle is better. gas mileage better. power better. i will give it 5

Have only had this in 2 weeks so far encouraging results. Throttle response seems smoother, no real data for this though. Mileage has increased 1.8 MPG so far, on my fourth fill up at this point.

So far so good have only been in vehicle 3 days

approx 100 kms. Power seems good maybe a bit better way to early to see accurate gains thru mileage. Brian

Not really sure I notice a difference or not in my 2021 nissan titan... it dose how ever shift a little smoother when I take off. Performance wise not sure if I gained anything. MPG not sure theres much of a difference. I would recommend going stage 2? My truck is also bone stock as well.

Recently installed but I'm noticing better acceleration and idle.

I discovered later that the installation of the chip would void my warranty. So I was not able to install it.

I was getting between14 and14.5 mpg in the city and 19 highway. After a break in period I'm now getting 17.5 city and 22 highway. Seems to run a lot stronger. Being very skeptical I'm extremely happy with the results. Well worth the money. Excellent product

Just received it today. It says it could take up to 2 weeks to completely notice. Hopefully it does as advertised! I'm excited to find out!!

I don't find it's done much for horsepower or increasing mpg

Worked great from the beginning. Smoothed my car out feels faster. $100 well spent very satisfied
