Simultaneously, factory standard copper or platinum plugs erode, increasing gap distance and forcing degraded coils to exceed their peak secondary voltage capacity.

The Engineering Solution

This complete ignition overhaul kit pairs four direct-fit pencil ignition coils with four precision-gapped fine-wire iridium spark plugs. The replacement coils feature reinforced thermoplastic housings and high-grade copper wire windings vacuum-potted in premium epoxy to resist thermal degradation and internal shorting. Combined with 0.6mm laser-welded iridium electrode tips, this kit minimizes required breakdown voltage, reduces quenching, and delivers consistent flame kernel propagation across all RPM ranges.
