The Stock 3 Series Weakness

These headers feature a 6-2-1 light-weight tubular piping design specifically engineered to optimize the exhaust pulse timing of the BMW straight-six firing order. By merging the six primary runners into two collectors before the final 2.00-inch outlet, this geometry maximizes mid-range torque while smoothing out high-end power delivery. The construction utilizes CNC-machined flanges to ensure a warp-resistant, airtight mating surface against the cylinder head, resolving the leak issues common with stamped alternatives. TIG and MIG welded joints provide the structural integrity required to withstand the thermal expansion associated with spirited driving. Additionally, the integrated O2 sensor bung with a blanking plug ensures full compatibility with both early Bosch Jetronic and later Motronic engine management systems.
