The OEM log-style manifolds create severe exhaust gas back pressure, especially under heavy throttle, leading to elevated exhaust gas temperatures (EGTs) and significant heat soak. This bottleneck suffocates the supercharger's ability to move air efficiently out of the combustion chamber, artificially capping potential horsepower and muting the aggressive V8 exhaust note.
