Cold Air Intake w/Heat Shield - Jeep Liberty KJ (2002-2003) 3.7L V6
Your Jeep Liberty KJ was built for adventure—whether you're navigating city streets or heading off the beaten path. Since its debut, the Liberty has been celebrated for blending everyday practicality with true Jeep capability. Now it's time to give your 3.7L V6 the breathing room it deserves.
Our Cold Air Intake with Heat Shield transforms your Liberty's performance by replacing the restrictive factory air box with a precision-engineered aluminum intake system. You'll immediately notice sharper throttle response, a satisfying deep growl under acceleration, and the kind of power delivery that makes every drive more engaging.
Unleash Your Liberty's True Potential
Imagine merging onto the highway with newfound confidence. The difference is instant—up to 10% more horsepower and torque flow through your engine as cooler, denser air rushes in. That translates to quicker acceleration when you need it and improved fuel efficiency during your daily commute. The lightweight aluminum piping reduces weight while maximizing airflow, giving your 3.7L V6 the performance boost it was always capable of.
Engineered for Real-World Performance
This isn't just about peak numbers—it's about how your Liberty feels every time you turn the key. Our intake system features a washable, high-flow filter that captures contaminants while allowing maximum airflow. Unlike disposable filters that need frequent replacement, you'll only need to clean this one. That's money saved and less waste in landfills.
The integrated heat shield keeps intake temperatures low, ensuring your engine receives the dense, oxygen-rich air it craves for optimal combustion. You'll experience improved throttle response that makes your Liberty feel more alive, whether you're crawling through traffic or cruising down the interstate.
The Sound of Freedom
Liberty owners know there's something special about driving a vehicle that sounds as capable as it looks. Our cold air intake enhances your engine's natural tone, delivering a deeper, sportier sound that announces your presence without being obnoxious. It's the perfect balance—aggressive when you want it, refined when you don't.
Installation Made Simple
You don't need a professional mechanic or specialized tools to transform your Liberty's performance. With basic hand tools and less than 60 minutes, you can complete the installation in your driveway. The system is designed to work seamlessly with your stock manifold, making it a true bolt-on upgrade. Detailed instructions guide you through removing the factory air box and installing your new intake system.
Pro tip: After installation, disconnect your battery terminal for 30 seconds. This allows your engine computer to reset and adapt to the increased airflow, optimizing your Liberty's performance right from the start.
