The Problem: From the factory, the VG33E is a workhorse, but it’s held back by a highly restrictive, baffled plastic air box and corrugated rubber intake tubing. This setup creates massive air turbulence and "chokes" the engine at higher RPMs. For those with the supercharged VG33ER, this restriction is even more detrimental, as the Eaton blower can’t pull in the volume of air required to reach its full potential, leading to heat soak and sluggish off-the-line performance.

The Solution: This intake system replaces the entire factory air tract with mandrel-bent T304 lightweight aluminum piping. By providing a smooth, straight path to the throttle body, we’ve corrected the factory design flaws of the VG33 series. This allows for cooler, denser air charges, resulting in a noticeable improvement in low-end torque and a much more aggressive engine note under load.
