The Problem: The factory airbox in the K-Series K20Z3 is a maze of plastic baffles and resonators designed for sound suppression rather than flow. This creates significant intake turbulence and heat soak, which effectively strangles the engine’s ability to breathe during the critical VTEC crossover and high-RPM powerband.

The Solution: We engineered this intake to eliminate the stock bottlenecks by using mandrel-bent T304 aluminum. By providing a direct, smooth path to the throttle body, this system allows the K-Series to draw in a higher volume of oxygen-rich air, resulting in crisper throttle response and a much more aggressive engine note when you cross into the powerband.
