Mechanic’s Pro Tip (The "Gotcha"):
On the 2011-2014 Ford Mustang 3.7L Cyclone V6, the factory crankcase vent (PCV) hose uses a notoriously brittle plastic locking collar to attach to the intake tube.   2. Install the Heat Shield/Airbox: Drop the new aftermarket airbox or heat shield into the factory rubber mounting grommets. Secure it to the inner fender using your 10mm socket and the original factory bolt.
  3. Position the Silicone Couplers: Slide the supplied silicone couplers onto the throttle body and the new airbox outlet. Loosely slip the provided hose clamps over the ends.
