Because the all-aluminum Rover V8 block is exceptionally sensitive to thermal spikes, prolonged heat soak quickly leads to warped cylinder heads, blown head gaskets, and slipped cylinder liners.

The Engineering Solution

This heavy-duty cooling assembly features a high-density 3-row brazed tube-and-fin aluminum core mated to precision TIG-welded end tanks, eliminating failure-prone crimped gaskets. The custom-formed aluminum shroud houses a high-flow electric cooling fan that pulls continuous, uniform CFM across the entire fin surface regardless of engine RPM. By transitioning away from an engine-driven fan, this setup eliminates parasitic horsepower draw while stabilizing engine operating temperatures under sustained off-road loads.
