Furthermore, original mechanical belt-driven fans cannot sustain adequate static pressure across the fin pack at idle or in low-speed traffic. Paired with high-torque big-blocks like the 383, 426 Hemi, and 440 RB, the OEM cooling volume quickly suffers from acute heat soak and localized cylinder head overheating.

The Engineering Solution

This cooling kit features a lightweight, furnace-brazed 3-row aluminum core welded directly to reinforced end tanks, completely eliminating failure-prone gaskets and solder joints. Aircraft-grade aluminum delivers superior thermal conductivity per square inch compared to weathered original brass. An integrated aluminum shroud channels an electric cooling fan across 100% of the active fin array, providing continuous high-CFM airflow independently of engine RPM. An internal automatic transmission cooler circuit ensures regulated ATF fluid temperatures under heavy throttle.
