Furthermore, the minimal surface area of the thin OEM core offers virtually zero thermal margin when traversing steep grades in 4WD low range, causing dangerous coolant temperature spikes that risk warping the aluminum cylinder head on G16 and J18 powerplants.

The Engineering Solution

This direct replacement radiator features an aerospace-grade aluminum brazed tube-and-fin core with a high-capacity 3-row configuration, dramatically expanding internal fluid capacity and effective dissipation surface area. Robust aluminum end tanks are 100% hand TIG-welded to the core, completely eliminating problematic crimped seams and brittle plastic. By optimizing laminar coolant velocity and accelerating airflow thermal rejection, it resists thermal saturation under sustained engine loads and harsh trail conditions.
