This intake kit resolves OEM airflow limitations by introducing a direct, high-volume pathway. A precision CNC-machined aluminum Mass Air Flow (MAF) adapter provides a rigid, leak-free transition from the factory sensor to the new intake. The included dual-layer cotton gauze cone filter drastically increases available filtration surface area, allowing the 1UZ-FE to draw in cooler, denser air. By smoothing the intake tract and eliminating factory acoustic baffles, this setup optimizes airflow dynamics. The result is improved throttle response, increased low-end torque, and enhanced horsepower output. The dual-layer filter is completely washable and reusable, ensuring sustained performance.
