Complete intercooled T3/T4 turbo package for 1985–2004 Volkswagen Golf, Jetta and Passat with 8-valve SOHC gas engines (1.6L / 1.8L / 2.0L) and 1.9L TDI. It pairs a cast T3 manifold with a hybrid T3/T4 turbo, 35mm external wastegate with positioning adapter and dump tube, stainless downpipe, front-mount intercooler, boost controller, blow-off valve, turbo timer and fuel-system parts in one box. Most installs keep A/C and power steering, and it works with manual or automatic transmissions. Expect about 50–100 hp over stock at a conservative 8 psi with a proper tune on a healthy NA 8V. The 485+ hp figure is the hardware's ceiling at 25+ psi with a built engine, fueling and supporting mods, not a dyno result for a stock car.

• 1.9L TDI listed for the same cast T3 package — factory TDI turbo and manifold differ, so expect custom fabrication if you are replacing OEM diesel turbo hardware
• Not for VR6, 1.8T 20V, later 2.0T / TSI, or Audi A3 / A4 (separate Make / layout)
• Intercooler piping is universal and needs cutting and fitting per chassis

• Exhaust beyond the downpipe
• Larger injectors, fuel pump and ECU tune (required on gas engines)
• Clutch upgrade, boost gauge and wideband
• Oil-pan return bung if your setup needs one

Installation Notes

• Professional installation strongly recommended. Expect cutting and fitting of the universal piping and test-fitting the downpipe
• The manifold is street cast, not equal-length tubular: stronger and more affordable, with a different spool character
• Oil return must drain by gravity; prime the turbo with oil before first start and check for leaks
• Blow-off valve flanges are installed at your discretion
• Keep boost at about 8 psi until fuel and tune are upgraded, and let the turbo timer handle cool-down

Does this fit a 1.8T 20V or VR6? No. It is for 8V SOHC (and listed 1.9 TDI) Volkswagen Golf / Jetta / Passat only.
