The Stock Quest Intake Velocity Limitation

The factory intake assembly on the V42 Quest positions the electronic drive-by-wire throttle body flush against the cast upper intake manifold. In low-to-mid RPM operating ranges, sudden throttle tip-in creates localized boundary-layer turbulence and uneven charge-air distribution across the intake runners. This short-runner orientation restricts torque buildup when accelerating from a dead stop under vehicle load.

Precision-machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum, this spacer increases internal plenum volume while its internal bore geometry straightens incoming airflow entering the intake manifold.
