Over repeated thermal expansion cycles, these plastic tanks become brittle, developing stress fractures along the tank seams and radiator hose necks. On supercharged L67 applications, elevated coolant and transmission temperatures quickly exceed the thermal rejection threshold of the stock core, inducing heat soak and power derating.

The Engineering Solution

Constructed entirely from aircraft-grade AA5052 aluminum, this crossflow unit features a 3-row racing tube core that vastly increases coolant capacity and surface area dissipation. 100% TIG-welded seams replace failure-prone plastic crimps to withstand elevated operating pressures. The unit integrates an internal 5/8-18UNF transmission fluid cooler and includes a pressure-rated radiator cap for direct bolt-in fitment.
