Prolonged heat cycling causes the plastic to embrittle and crack near the upper inlet neck, while the crimp seams degrade and blow out under cooling system pressure. Furthermore, the limited stock core volume struggles with thermal dissipation during towing or continuous high-load driving, inducing critical engine and transmission heat soak.

The Engineering Solution

Constructed entirely from aircraft-grade aluminum, this direct-fit radiator features a high-density 3-row TIG-welded core (18.1 in H x 26.75 in W) that completely eliminates bonded plastic seams. TIG-welded aluminum end tanks withstand high pressures and severe vibration. An integrated M14x1.5 bottom-tank transmission oil cooler regulates 4L60E fluid temperatures, maintaining continuous cooling performance under severe operating environments.
