Over time, heat soak degrades the internal epoxy encapsulation and causes micro-cracking in the primary and secondary copper windings. Simultaneously, factory spark plug electrode gaps expand due to electrical erosion, increasing the required firing voltage. This compounded secondary resistance causes spark blow-out, catalytic converter-damaging misfires (P0300–P0306), and sluggish throttle response under heavy engine load.

The Engineering Solution

This direct-replacement service kit provides six precision-wound coil packs paired with six fine-wire iridium spark plugs. The ignition coils feature high-conductivity internal copper windings and durable dielectric housings that resist thermal degradation and electrical leakage. The companion iridium spark plugs feature a laser-welded center electrode that requires lower strike voltage while resisting carbon fouling and gap erosion, ensuring consistent combustion propagation and stable idle characteristics.
