Over repeated heat cycles, these plastic tanks become brittle, hairline-fracture near the inlet/outlet necks, or suffer gasket separation under 15+ PSI cooling system pressures. Additionally, the stock core density restricts heat dissipation during continuous boost events, leading to elevated coolant temperatures and reduced power output via ECU thermal throttling.

The Engineering Solution

This heavy-duty crossflow radiator eliminates plastic weak points with 2 mm aircraft-grade aluminum end-tanks fully TIG-welded to a vacuum-brazed 4-row core. Featuring 3/8-inch tube spacing and 14–16 fins per inch (FPI), it dramatically increases total surface area and fluid capacity for superior heat dissipation. An integrated internal transmission oil cooler matches OE fluid line routing, ensuring stable transmission temperatures without requiring auxiliary cooler fabrication.
