Over continuous thermal cycles, the factory plastic tanks become brittle, leading to hairline cracks and sudden coolant pressure loss at the crimped seams. Furthermore, the limited surface area of the OEM tube-and-fin architecture struggles to shed thermal load efficiently under aggressive driving or prolonged idling, resulting in heat soak. When engine coolant temperature spikes, the ECU actively retards ignition timing, aggressively pulling engine power to prevent detonation and safeguard internal block components.

This 3-row racing-spec radiator eliminates factory failure points by utilizing full AA5052 aircraft-grade aluminum construction, replacing the failure-prone plastic end tanks with 2mm thick aluminum tanks TIG-welded directly to the core. Engineered with advanced brazed core technology, the unit increases fluid capacity and dramatically expands the heat-dissipation footprint. The high-density core features cooling rows spaced just 3/8" apart, yielding 25% more rows than standard aftermarket replacements. Paired with an ultra-dense fin pitch of 14-16 cooling fins per inch, it provides roughly 1,500 more fins than traditional designs.
