Direct-Fit Replacement Oxygen Sensor Set for 2015-2018 Nissan Altima (L33)
What it Does: The complete 4-piece oxygen sensor kit monitors pre- and post-catalytic exhaust gas stoichiometry on the 2015-2018 Nissan Altima 3.5L to restore closed-loop air-fuel metering and clear catalytic converter diagnostic trouble codes.
The Stock Nissan Altima Sensor Degradation
High-mileage factory zirconia elements mounted on the VQ35DE exhaust manifolds suffer from severe thermal cycling, oil mist contamination, and silicon-induced glazing. As internal ceramic heater circuits degrade, signal response rates drop drastically, causing delayed fuel trims, poor gas mileage, and persistent CEL activation with fault codes such as P0420, P0430, or P0130 across Banks 1 and 2.
The Engineering Solution
Engineered to match factory operational parameters, each sensor features a high-grade 304 stainless steel body with a double-laser-welded submersible shield to lock out moisture and soot contamination. Fast-firing internal ceramic heating elements allow the planar sensing substrate to achieve 600°F light-off temperatures in seconds. Pre-calibrated harness lengths with factory-style locking connectors and weather-sealed terminals replace failing units directly—interchanging with OEM references 22693-1PM0A and 234-9148 for steady millivolt feedback and optimized ECM fuel-delivery calculations.

Frequently Asked Questions & Fitment Warnings
Does this fit the L33 Altima?
Yes, this is a direct fit for the 2015-2018 Nissan Altima equipped with the 3.5L VQ35DE engine. Does not fit 2.5L QR25DE 4-cylinder models.
Is harness splicing required during installation?
No, these sensors feature factory-style direct-plug connectors for a true plug-and-play installation without wire cutting.
The Nissan Powertrain Caliber
Maintaining fast stoichiometric feedback is vital for the VQ35DE to deliver smooth, high-revving throttle response while safeguarding expensive three-way catalytic converters from unburned hydrocarbons.
