Direct-Fit O2 Oxygen Sensor Set for 2000-2006 Lincoln LS (DEW98)
What it Does: The 4-piece oxygen sensor kit restores closed-loop engine management and catalytic monitoring on the 2000-2006 Lincoln LS to resolve erratic fuel trims and clear emissions trouble codes.
The Stock Lincoln LS Sensor Degradation
Factory zirconia elements inside the DEW98 platform sensors degrade from thermal cycling, unburnt hydrocarbons, and silica contamination over time. As response times lag, the powertrain control module cannot accurately regulate stoichiometric air-fuel ratios. This sensor degradation results in rich or lean running conditions, rough idle, poor fuel economy, and diagnostic trouble codes including P0130, P0161, P0420, and P0430.
The Engineering Solution
Engineered to exact OEM operational tolerances, these direct-replacement upstream and downstream sensors feature pre-treated stainless-steel bodies with precision-formed ceramic sensing elements for rapid thermal activation. Each unit matches factory lead lengths, heat shielding, and OE-style harness plugs for direct connectivity to the stock wiring loom with zero cutting or splicing. Pre-coated anti-seize threads ensure proper sealing in factory M18 bungs without thread galling.
