Direct-Replacement Lower Intake Manifold Set for 2013-2016 Audi Q5 (8R)
What it Does: The Left and Right Intake Manifold Set replaces degraded lower manifold assemblies on the 2013-2016 Audi Q5 to eliminate vacuum leaks, resolve runner position DTCs, and restore factory charge-air distribution.
The Stock Audi Q5 EA837 Intake Runner Failure
Located directly beneath the supercharger, the factory lower intake manifolds on the 3.0 TFSI endure persistent thermal cycling and blow-by contamination. Over time, the internal tumble flap pivot pins wear out, plastic linkage arms bind, and port seals harden. This mechanical deterioration leads to stuck runner flaps, unmetered vacuum leaks, rough cold starts, and persistent check-engine codes such as P2006 or P2007.
The Engineering Solution
Engineered to exact OEM dimensional tolerances, these lower intake manifolds feature heat-stabilized composite and reinforced aluminum construction to resist under-charger heat soak and runner fatigue. The assembly integrates responsive, factory-calibrated flap actuators and fresh port seals to preserve airtight runner velocity, optimize cylinder charge motion across the RPM band, and stop boost/vacuum bleed.
What's Included
- 1 Left Intake Manifold (with integrated runner flap actuator and port seals)
- 1 Right Intake Manifold (with integrated runner flap actuator and port seals)

Frequently Asked Questions & Fitment Warnings
Does this fit the 8R Q5?
Yes, this is a direct fit for the 2013-2016 Audi Q5 equipped with the 3.0 TFSI supercharged engine. Not compatible with the 3.0L TDI diesel, 2.0T, or 4.0T engines.
Are adaptation resets required after installation?
Yes, because the supercharger must be pulled for access, install new intake gaskets and perform a runner flap basic setting adaptation via a diagnostic scan tool.
The Audi Engineering Standard
European forced-induction platforms demand precise air metering; this manifold pair provides the mechanical integrity and flap timing required to maintain smooth idle and keep the check engine light off.
