High-Amp 350A Alternator for 2007-2010 Chrysler Sebring (JS)
What it Does: The 350A high-output alternator replaces the factory charging unit on the 2007-2010 Sebring to eliminate voltage drop and deliver sustained electrical current for high-draw systems.
The Stock Chrysler Sebring Charging Limitations
Factory alternators installed on the Chrysler JS platform typically yield only 115 to 140 amps. When secondary loads like high-power audio amplifiers, aftermarket lighting, or air ride compressors are added, the OEM diode bridge suffers extreme heat soak. Under high thermal loads, the factory unit drops below 12.8 volts at idle, starving sensitive CAN-bus electronics, causing headlight flicker, and accelerating battery cell degradation.
The Engineering Solution
Constructed in the USA, this heavy-duty 350-amp alternator utilizes high-efficiency heavy-gauge copper stator windings and an oversized 12-diode heavy-duty rectifier to withstand continuous high-amperage output. Its balanced rotor assembly prevents brush bounce at elevated RPM, maintaining a constant 14.4-volt charge across the rev range. Designed with a bolt-in casing, it aligns directly with the factory accessory drive bracket while dramatically lowering internal operating temperatures compared to OEM units.
