Furthermore, the stock configuration mutes the characteristic 270-degree crossplane crank pulse, robbing the rider of essential acoustic feedback needed for precise rev-matching and throttle modulation. The weight of the stock system is also concentrated low but is excessive for a chassis designed for agility.
