This engineering solution utilizes a large-diameter, black powder-coated 6061 aluminum tube to provide a smooth, unobstructed path for incoming air. The kit features a high-flow, dry-style synthetic filter that is both washable and reusable, providing superior filtration without the risk of oil-fouling the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor. To isolate the filter from ambient engine bay heat, an aluminum heat shield is included, featuring a reflective thermal insulation mat that serves as a radiant heat barrier. Connection points are secured with heavy-duty 4-layer reinforced silicone couplers and stainless steel button-head hardware, ensuring a durable, vacuum-tight seal that far outlasts factory rubber components. This setup facilitates increased volumetric efficiency and a sharper throttle transition.
