Furthermore, the standard baffled muffler acts as a secondary obstruction, trapping heat and muffling the natural resonance of the engine at the expense of throttle response and low-end torque.

This catback system utilizes high-quality aluminized steel with computerized mandrel-bending to ensure a consistent 2.5-inch OD flow path without the diameter collapses found in stock units. By increasing the piping to a 3-inch ID at critical junctions, the system dramatically lowers backpressure, allowing for an estimated gain of 20-25 HP depending on supporting modifications. The design features a high-performance oval canister muffler and a 3.5-inch double-walled slanted tip, which provides superior thermal management and a deep, aggressive tone.
