The factory Sigma II chassis exhaust utilizes heavy, multi-chambered baffled mufflers and press-bent piping that creates excessive backpressure. On a forced-induction LSA engine, this restriction traps heat near the exhaust valves, increasing cylinder head temperatures and hindering the supercharger's volumetric efficiency. The OEM assembly is prone to heat soak and uses inferior grade steel that degrades over time under the high thermal loads of a 550+ horsepower application, resulting in parasitic power loss and a muted acoustic profile.

The Engineering Solution

Engineered for maximum gas throughput, this system is constructed from high-grade stainless steel featuring computerized mandrel-bends to ensure a constant internal diameter. By eliminating the bottlenecks found in OEM crush-bends, the system maintains laminar flow and reduces turbulence across the 2.5-inch OD main piping. The TIG-welded CNC machine flanges provide superior resistance against warping and high-pressure leaks. The dual straight-through perforated core mufflers utilize high-density packing to deliver an aggressive, deep tone while minimizing drone. The assembly is finished with 4.5-inch double-walled diagonal cut tips for improved heat dissipation at the rear fascia.
