The Stock F-150 Heat Dissipation Shortcoming

Factory radiator assemblies rely on crimped plastic end-tanks mated to thin single-row cores that deteriorate under continuous thermal cycling. Under heavy towing loads or off-road conditions, the stock mechanical clutch fan creates parasitic drag while failing to generate sufficient low-speed static airflow. Over time, heat fatigue causes the brittle OEM plastic tanks to split at the crimp seams, risking catastrophic head gasket failure on the Windsor block.

The Engineering Solution

Constructed with 100% TIG-welded AA5052 aluminum, this crossflow 3-row radiator features a vacuum-brazed core measuring 18.03 in x 27.56 in x 1.73 in to vastly increase fluid capacity and heat rejection surface area. The matched aluminum shroud houses dual 12-inch slim electric fans with an included thermostat relay harness, providing high-velocity airflow regardless of engine RPM. It features an integrated internal transmission oil cooler (TOC), 1-3/4 in inlet/outlet ports, and a CNC-machined pressure cap.
