Furthermore, the OEM mechanical clutch fan creates parasitic drag on the L31 5.7L V8 and fails to pull sufficient CFM at low idle speeds during heavy load conditions.

Constructed from 100% TIG-welded AA5052 aircraft-grade aluminum, this 3-row crossflow cooling assembly eliminates mechanical crimp failure points via furnace vacuum brazing.
