The proximity of the factory intake tract to the M274 engine block allows ambient under-hood temperatures to negatively impact air density, ultimately capping horsepower output and causing sluggish throttle transitions, particularly in ECU-tuned applications.

The Engineering Solution

This aftermarket induction kit re-engineers the intake pathway by eliminating the corrugated factory tubing and restrictive panel filter. Utilizing a high-flow conical air filter and smooth-bore piping, the system drastically reduces restriction and minimizes turbulence.
