More Power for Your First-Gen Escalade

The first-generation Cadillac Escalade brought luxury to the SUV market when it debuted in 1999. Built on the proven GMT400 platform and powered by the venerable Vortec 5.7L V8, these early Escalades were designed for drivers who wanted both capability and comfort. This cold air intake system helps your 5.7L breathe easier, giving you the performance boost your Escalade was always capable of delivering.

Factory air intakes are designed with one priority: meeting corporate fuel economy standards. This performance cold air intake is engineered for getting cooler, denser air into your engine for better combustion and stronger throttle response. You'll feel the difference when merging onto the highway or passing slower traffic.

What You're Getting

  • Direct Bolt-On Fitment: Engineered specifically for 1999-2000 Cadillac Escalade 5.7L V8 engines—no modifications or adapters needed
  • T-6063 Polished Aluminum Tubing: Heat-resistant construction that looks sharp under the hood and stands up to engine bay temperatures
  • High-Flow Washable Filter: Reusable cotton gauze filter captures contaminants while maximizing airflow—clean it instead of replacing it
  • Noticeable Performance Gains: Up to 10% increase in horsepower and torque across the powerband
  • Quick Installation: Most owners complete installation in 10-30 minutes with basic hand tools
  • Complete System: Everything needed for installation is included in the kit

Why It Works

Your factory intake uses a restrictive airbox and small-diameter tubing that limits airflow. This system replaces those components with smooth, mandrel-bent aluminum piping and a high-flow filter. The result? Your 5.7L gets the air it needs to make more power. You'll notice crisper acceleration, improved throttle response, and a more aggressive intake sound that lets you know your Escalade means business.

Installation Note: This is a straightforward bolt-on upgrade that doesn't require special tools or professional installation. Complete instructions are not included, but installation follows standard intake replacement procedures. If you're comfortable working under the hood, you can handle this upgrade.

I like the way it looks and sounds

I see here in the picture that you guys left the plastic corrugated pipe on the back side of the maf sensor. In my box i recieved two stainless steel pipes and used one for the front side and one for the back. Is there a problem with doing so and is there a benefit in using the plastic corrugated pipe? Plz let me know, other than that great product
