O2 Oxygen Sensor Upstream Downstream for BMW X3 X5 (2007-2010) 3.0L

Direct-Fit Oxygen Sensor Replacement Kit for 2007-2010 BMW X3, X5 (E83 / E70)

What it Does: The 4-piece oxygen sensor kit monitors pre- and post-catalyst exhaust gas composition on the 2007-2010 BMW X3 and X5 3.0L to restore target air-fuel ratios, optimize engine efficiency, and eliminate check engine warnings.

The Stock BMW X3, X5 Lambda Sensor Degradation

Factory oxygen sensors on the N52 platform suffer from progressive sensor poisoning, soot accumulation, and ceramic aging after high-heat duty cycles. As the response rates slow, the engine management system relies on biased air-fuel data, causing catalytic trim drift, sluggish throttle response, elevated fuel consumption, and recurring diagnostic trouble codes such as P0420, P0430, or internal DME lambda monitoring faults.

The Engineering Solution

This comprehensive upstream and downstream kit utilizes advanced planar ceramic sensing elements with fast-acting integrated heaters to achieve rapid operating temperatures and instantaneous voltage switching. Constructed with a 304 stainless steel housing, dual-layer protective shielding, and factory-pinned harness connectors, these sensors deliver OE-level signal accuracy to the MSV80 DME without requiring wire splicing or repinning.

What's Included

• 2x Upstream Oxygen Sensors (Pre-Catalytic Converter)
• 2x Downstream Oxygen Sensors (Post-Catalytic Converter)

Frequently Asked Questions & Fitment Warnings

Does this fit the E83 and E70 X3, X5?

Yes, this is a direct fit for the 2007-2010 BMW X3 and X5 equipped with the N52 3.0L naturally aspirated inline-six engine. Does not fit turbocharged N54/N55 or V8 models.

Should DME adaptation values be reset after installation?

Yes, resetting lambda and fuel trim adaptations using an OBD-II diagnostic tool allows the engine computer to immediately map the baseline values of new sensors.

The BMW Calibration Standard

Built to withstand strict European emissions tolerances, this 4-piece sensor array restores precision stoichiometric closed-loop control without generating unwanted check engine lights.
