High Output Alternator for Jeep Compass Patriot (2007-2017) 2.0L 2.4L

High-Amp 350A Alternator for 2007-2017 Jeep Compass & Patriot (MK49 / MK74)

What it Does: The 350 Amp High Output Alternator replaces the low-output factory charging unit on 2007-2017 Jeep Compass and Patriot models to supply stable voltage and prevent electrical dropouts under heavy auxiliary loads.

The Stock Jeep Compass & Patriot Charging System Limitation

Factory MK49 Compass and MK74 Patriot platforms utilize stock alternators rated between 115 and 140 amps. When running auxiliary lighting, winches, power inverters, or aftermarket audio systems, this factory capacity quickly saturates. At idle, the OEM unit suffers severe voltage sag, causing excessive diode bridge heat soak, rotor winding degradation, premature battery depletion, and intermittent low-voltage trouble codes across the CAN-bus architecture.

The Engineering Solution

Engineered for high current delivery, this Made-in-USA 350-amp unit delivers massive charging headroom without taxing the electrical harness. It features heavy-duty avalanche diodes, precision-balanced rotors, and high-temp copper hairpin stator windings that dissipate thermal buildup far more effectively than stock winding configurations. Designed as a direct bolt-in replacement for Chrysler World Engine platforms, it maintains critical system voltage (14.2V–14.6V) under full component load, protecting your ECU and accessories from voltage drops.
