Results do vary and can sometimes take up to 2 weeks to see results due to computer learning. Stage 1 recalibrates the ignition and fuel based on the variables such as the fuel octane, ambient air temp and other sensors in addition to driving style.

How does this product work?
Using your OBD on board computer port - plugs right in - our product modifies signals sent to your vehicles ECU computer. The module optimizes functions such as ignition timing, air fuel mixture, fuel maps and produces more power and better gas mileage. The ECU of modern vehicles controls a series of actuators on an internal combustion engine to ensure the optimum running. It does this by reading values from a multitude of sensors within the engine bay, interpreting the data using multidimensional performance maps (Look-up tables), and adjusting the engine actuators accordingly.

Stage 2 chip
I don’t know which Toyota vehicle this rating is for; I have a Tacoma SR5 and a Toyota Matrix. Let’s start with the first one. Toyota Matrix 1.8L, this car at time’s didn’t have the power for me to be able pull out in traffic when the roads were very busy. I ordered and installed this Stage 2 power chip and took it out for a test drive, when I can to the stop sign, I hit the throttle to the floor, and it just jerked me back in the seat wow what a difference. Now I used to have to keep in third because it just didn’t have the power for overdrive, and now I can run in overdrive and this car is running 70-85 mph at just light throttle and I also gained 2 miles per gallon. Now for my Tacoma 4.0L. This truck ran well as it was stock. Put this chip in it and it spun the tires with little effort, now the problem is it wants to do it all the time LOL. This truck is a 5spd auto and I never could use the overdrive on hills and had to keep it in 4th. But now in overdrive it’s like what hill. It is great love it. Only downfall is I lost 2 miles per gallon, but for the power I am getting out of it I’m fine with that. I recommend this product.

Chip tuner performance
Like in the description it took about two weeks and at that time when I got into my truck on a Saturday to drive from the house it felt like a new truck. Smoother idle, more horse power, but what I noticed the most was in the shifting, so much smoother. Top end speed was also a plus.
