Do I need any special tools or automotive knowledge to install?

How much horsepower will I gain?
Results do vary and can sometimes take up to 2 weeks to see results due to computer learning. Stage 1 recalibrates the ignition and fuel based on the variables such as the fuel octane, ambient air temp and other sensors in addition to driving style.

How does this product work?
Using your OBD on board computer port - plugs right in - our product modifies signals sent to your vehicles ECU computer. The module optimizes functions such as ignition timing, air fuel mixture, fuel maps and produces more power and better gas mileage. The ECU of modern vehicles controls a series of actuators on an internal combustion engine to ensure the optimum running. It does this by reading values from a multitude of sensors within the engine bay, interpreting the data using multidimensional performance maps (Look-up tables), and adjusting the engine actuators accordingly.

No, this product does not connect to your engine sensor like many cheap products on the market. No splicing or cutting wires!
Do I need to use Stage 1 first in order to use Stage 2 or 3?
No, Stages will determine how much power you'll able to extract from your vehicle, you don't need to upgrade from one Stage to another.

Stage 2 Performance Chip for Cadillac CTS
When I ordered the chip I was skeptical because there were negative reviews stating this was a scam. Far from a scam, this was the best noticeable change I have ever experienced in performance considering price and ease of installation. I did already have K&N Filter, and Magna Flow Exhaust, but once the cup was installed I gained immediate horsepower and quicker shifts. Haven’t been able to see about gas mileage yet but honestly not worried with that. If you are considering this chip, go for it. If it doesn’t work for you, add K&N filter and aftermarket exhaust. This may have done fine with out the filter and exhaust, don’t know, but do know my CTS is running strong with the Stage 2 Performance Chip.
