How much horsepower will I gain?
Results do vary and can sometimes take up to 2 weeks/100 miles to see results due to computer OBD2 learning. Stage 1 recalibrates the ignition and fuel based on the variables such as the fuel octane, ambient air temp and other sensors in addition to driving style.

How does this product work?
Using your OBD on board computer port - plugs right in - our product modifies signals sent to your vehicles ECU computer. The module optimizes functions such as ignition timing, air fuel mixture, fuel maps and produces more power and better gas mileage. The ECU of modern vehicles controls a series of actuators on an internal combustion engine to ensure the optimum running. It does this by reading values from a multitude of sensors within the engine bay, interpreting the data using multidimensional performance maps (Look-up tables), and adjusting the engine actuators accordingly.

Fast respoonse
Love how quickly it communicated with my ECU, don't have to do much, except wait for the instructions sent by email, but emailed store and they provided them to me. 1 week later, still working fine, acceleration improved, smoother engine idling, feels like it kicks harder, I love it.

Less than 100 miles on it at this point. Idle is much smoother and throttle response has improved by about 30% or so. Mileage similar due to short runs. Pick up and feel improved may or may not be just throttle response. With just the basic improvements within 100 miles it's absolutely worth the price.

Not a bad chip for the price point
I have a Z71 Tahoe and and it didn't make my truck into a dragster but I have noticed increased hp and a little better gas mileage .For the price point it's not a bad chip .at least they don't make outlandish promises them don't deliver . Good job performance

Stg 1 chip 2021 TahoeZ71
Used this prior to my 2000 mile road trip. The pickup on highway improved when passing other vehicles. I can’t believe it but I keep log of fuel used and distanced traveled. Dud the math and increased gas 8 miles more per gallon. 24 gal tank.

GTE OBDII Stage 1 Performance Chip
I recently ordered a stage 1 chip, I accidentally selected for turbocharge, when I actually need a natural aspirated program. I asked a question on this site, about whether or not it matters, or if I need to swap for a different chip. Still waiting for a response to the question, but I've noticed increased throttle response, and a 2 mpg increase, despite having a mismatched program.

I've only had this a couple weeks and don't drive much now that I'm retired. Still I do seem to have better throttle response and a bit more zip. I'll be driving from s.c. to ct. and back soon so that will be a real good time to evauleate this chip. Hope to be able to submit another review when I get back. So far so good though.
