History of BMW 2 series
The BMW 2 series started as the 1 series coupé in 2013, which included the 128i, 135i and the new 1 M Coupe. BMW dropped the “1” from the 2 series name and released the 220i, 225d, 218i and the top of the line M235i.

The BMW 2 series is available in three power levels, including the standard 218i and 218d.
